If Mike Ness was a Christian, he would be more a witness in his music, lyrics, stage banter, and interviews. I would say if anything he is a spiritual man with a God or higher power of his own understanding. That could mean anything. Like Jenn said earlier, spirituality is a very personal thing.

That being said it's not a problem to ask. Although it's almost cliche on the board by now, and a definite arguement starter because of ignorance, his beliefs do weigh on some people. Come on, if Mike was a racist I'm sure people would want to know and it would affect the way they take his music. Not equating racism with religion, though the two can intersect, I'm simply saying that what makes the man that makes the music, can often influence his listeners.
I'm sorry if my comments seem flippant, but I equate religion to astrology. If you believe in it, and it brings some personal satisfation to you, good for you. But I wouldn't look to someone like like Mike Ness as a christian savoir. Sure some of his lyrics you can take some religious meaning from, but that is also your personal opinion. I don't need to know Mike's personal beliefs to enjoy his music.
If only Christianity was kept as personal as you all claim...
Where's Python when you need him?
Please, please don't invite Python back again! Any time you bring religion or politics up either face to face or on a message board it usually never turns out good. I agree that Mike may believe in Jesus but that doesn't necessarily make him a devout Christian, and if he is, not all Christians feel inclined to share that w/the rest of the world. I think his opinons on religion have probably changed over the years as mine have, either through life experience or education on religion.
